Victor Ruiz to miss this week's competition after injury problems

Victor Ruiz has announced on social media that he will make a last-minute withdrawal for Bordeaux Premier Padel P2. The player has been suffering from knee problems and will therefore take a break this week to recover and come back stronger. 

"In Chile I had a problem with a knee and after medical tests we have decided that the best option is to take a break. Therefore, we will not be able to be in Bordeaux", writes the player on Instagram.

Victor Ruiz and Lucas Bergamini are still chasing their first quarter-final in Premier Padel this year. The players now hope to be able to get back to the second major of the year next week:

‘From now on, together with the great team that surrounds me, we are working to make this a short break, to gain momentum and come back stronger’.

The Italy Major Premier Padel will be decided during next week.
