Galán overtakes Tapia in the ranking

Alejandro Galán and Federico Chingotto managed to win the Mar del Plata P1. This was the third title of the season for this new pair. With this victory, the player from Madrid has overtaken Agustín Tapia in the FIP ranking.

Let's remember that Tapia and Coello are the number 1 pair, but the left-hander has more points than the Argentine and is at the top. With his achievement in Argentina, Galán overtakes Tapia and moves into second place. This is how the top 10 stands, with Chingotto also getting closer to the leaders.

1. Coello: 13,297 pts.
2. Galán: 11,721 pts.
3. Tapia: 11,395 pts.
4. Lebrón: 9,706 pts.
5. Di Nenno: 9,042 pts.
6. Chingotto: 8,363 pts.
7. Stupaczuk: 8,313 pts.
8. Paquito: 7,437 pts.
9. Belasteguín: 5,154 pts.
10. Yanguas: 4,050 pts.

The Santiago P1 this week will be another opportunity for Galán and Chingotto to close the gap. The big question is whether they will be able to compete for the number 1 spot at the end of the season.
