Josemaria and Sanchez secured the title in marathon match

Paula Josemaria and Ari Sanchez are the champions of Argentina after a thrilling match. After three hours they were the winners against rivals Bea Gonzalez and Delfi Brea.  

Three and hours and ten minutes.

That's how long the final between Josemaria/Sanchez and Gonzalez/Brea lasted. A marathon match that went back and forth between the two best women's pairs in the padel world right now.

In the first set there was no question about it. Josemaria and Sanchez won game after game until 6-1. The second set was much more even. In the end it was Brea and Gonzalez who won the second part of the match 7-5.

A third set decided the final in Argentina. At 4-4, Sanchez and Josemaria managed to win the break and could then serve home the title.

The result was: 6-1, 5-7, 6-4.

The world number ones also broke Brea and Gonzalez's winning streak of four straight titles.
