Alejandra Salazar and the first bad news of the Asunción P2
ANNONS
Alejandra Salazar has announced on social media that she will be a last-minute withdrawal from the Asunción P2. The star is not at 100% physically and will take this week off to recover and return in Argentina.
"I pushed it to the last minute, but my elbow needs a few more days to perform at the desired level," Salazar said. The elbow has been a problem area for her in recent years.
Despite this small setback, Salazar's season with Tamara Icardo has been very successful. Ranked as the number 4 pair, they have reached 4 semifinals and one final.
The next opportunity for Salazar and Icardo will be at the Mar del Plata P1, the first and only tournament in Argentinean soil.
