Miguel Lamperti will play in a quarterfinals match 13 months later

Miguel Lamperti will return to the quarterfinals after over a year, having defeated Momo González and Álex Ruiz alongside his partner Juan Cruz Belluati in a tough and lengthy battle.

Lamperti and Belluati clinched the marathon match with a score of 7-6(5) 6-7(5) 7-6(5). This marks the 2.0 version of the Argentinians, who entered this tournament with the hope of replicating the semifinal achievement they had as a pair in the Open de La Rioja of the World Padel Tour in February 2023.

That tournament was the last time Lamperti reached the quarterfinals. However, tonight won't be an easy task for him as he will have to face the number 1 seeds, Agustín Tapia and Arturo Coello.

For Lamperti, it will also be his first quarterfinal appearance in Premier Padel.
