ANNONS

More and more sports stars are showcasing their passion for padel. Recently, Gonzalo Higuaín, former player for the Argentine National Team and Real Madrid, made headlines by winning an amateur padel tournament in Miami.

The 'Pipita' claimed victory in the Open category at the event held at the Padel Club Miramar. Some tournament participants mentioned that Higuaín frequents the club every Tuesday to enjoy the game with his friends. As a prize, the top scorer walked away with $300 alongside his Venezuelan partner, Tarek Deham.

Padel continues to attract followers, and Miami is solidifying its position as a hub for this sport in the United States. Following the organization of the Reserve Cup earlier in the year and the recent Pro Padel League, the city in Florida also warmly welcomes celebrities like Higuaín, Beckham, Jimmy Butler, Andre Agassi, and even Lionel Messi himself.
