Jon Sanz injured - forced to withdraw from the tournament in Miami

Last Wednesday, Jon Sanz was forced to withdraw from a match in the Pro Padel League due to an injury. Now he has announced his withdrawal from the competition.

The second round of the Pro Padel League is in progress in Miami. During the week, a group stage has been decided and during the weekend, semi-finals and finals will be decided in the league where ten teams compete for big prize money.

Miami Padel Club got off to a good start, winning last week's competition with players like Ariana Sanchez, Agustin Tapia, Jon Sanz and Marta Talavan.

The team had a tougher start to the second week after Jon Sanz was forced to withdraw from a match. He has now announced his withdrawal from the competition:

"This is the end of my second week in Miami. Thanks to the team for the support, I'm waiting for tests and hope it's nothing", he wrote on social media according to Mundo Deportivo.

It is currently unclear whether Jon Sanz will be able to play in the next Premier Padel competition, which starts on 22 April in Belgium.
