Nikhil Mohindra becomes the first ambassador of Padel India
Padel India has announced the signing of Nikhil Mohindra, one of the great future stars of British padel. The 23-year-old player has been chosen as an 'ambassador' as a recognition for his years of involvement in the development of the sport in India.
Padel India is a movement founded in 2023, with the goal of promoting the fastest-growing racket sport in the country with the highest growth in racket sports. It is the main reference for the padel revolution in India.
Mohindra is one of the young talents emerging in the country, who currently represents Great Britain. In fact, he has competed in European tournaments and in the FIP World Padel Championship.
True to his roots, Mohindra became the perfect player to become the first ambassador of Padel India. Supported by the Indian Padel Federation, Mohindra will participate in a series of events, exhibitions, and clinics with the aim of continuing to build a culture around padel.
When asked about his selection as ambassador, Mohindra stated: "I am delighted to be appointed the first ambassador for Padel India at a time when the sport is on track to grow rapidly."
