Alejandro Galán and Federico Chingotto announced that they will be partners starting from the P2 in Venezuela. Their respective former partners, Juan Lebrón and Momo González, have entered the tournament together, although the 'Wolf' has confirmed that Momo will not be his partner for the rest of the season.
In an interview with Marca, Juan Lebrón commented on the choice of Momo González as his partner for the first P2 of the season: "I will play with Momo in Venezuela because that's how it turned out. I've spoken with him and we were both surprised. He is a great person and a great player."
However, Lebrón clarified that Momo will not be his partner beyond that event: "It doesn't mean that I will play with Momo in the next tournaments. I have to evaluate who I will play with. It is very important to be in a good and positive dynamic. I want to pursue an ambitious project."
The main names being considered as options for Lebrón are Juan Tello and Paquito Navarro. Another option that the 'Wolf' is considering is returning to his backhand side.
