The top 8 for the Riyadh P1 Premier Padel - Tapia and Coello are not number 1
The Riad P1 will be the first tournament of the 2024 season in Premier Padel. The tournament will take place from February 26th to March 2nd. Here are the top 8 pairs registered for the event, who will have the great advantage of not facing each other until the quarterfinals.
To the surprise of many, Juan Lebrón and Alejandro Galán are pair number 1. Although Arturo Coello leads the ranking individually, his partner Agustín Tapia couldn't compete in some tournaments last year, so they will come out as pair number 2.
The Superpibes, Martín Di Nenno and Franco Stupaczuk, will be pair number 3. Completing the top 4 is the triumphant return of Paquito Navarro and Sanyo Gutiérrez.
Fede Chingotto will debut with Momo González and they will be pair number 5. Meanwhile, Bela and Lucho Capra will come out as seeded 6. Rounding out the list are Alex Ruiz and Juan Tello in position number 7, and the surprising pair of Lucas Bergamini and Victor Ruiz as pair number 8.
Pairs such as Coki Nieto and Jon Sanz (position 9), or Yanguas with Garrido (position 10), are left out of this list.
