Tolito and Alfonso advance to quarter-finals after turnaround

The third round of the Ultimate Padel Tour took place yesterday.
Tolito Aguirre and Gonzalo Alfonso showed a great performance and defeated the fourth seed.

A total of 15 Ultimate Padel Tour competitions will be held, with twelve of the competitions taking place in Spain during the year.

The first competition is taking place this week in A Coruña in north-west Spain.

The ranking is mainly based on WPT competitions, which resulted in A1 players Tolito Aguirre and Gonzalo Alfonso not qualifying for the main round. However, the organisers decided to give the pair a wildcard.

The players have really taken this opportunity. Yesterday they defeated Javier Rico and Juanlu Esbri in three sets.

The result was: 3-6, 6-4, 6-4.

Today, Tolito Aguirre and Gonzalo Alfonso will play against Javier García and Javier González in the quarter-finals.
