Major upset at the Ultimate Padel Tour

Agustín Gutiérrez and Lucas Campagnolo, pair number 1 of the UPT of A Coruña, were surprised by the spectacular Jorge Ruiz and Javier Martínez, who defeated them in the round of sixteen.

Despite having won the first set, Campagnolo and Gutiérrez couldn't maintain the consistency in their game that characterizes them. Ruiz and Martínez ended up sealing their passage to the quarterfinals with scores of 4/6, 6/2, and 6/3.

Those who did manage to advance were Javi Leal and José García Diestro. The second pair left no doubts and prevailed 6/2 and 6/3 against Marqués and Fermosell.

In the women's draw, the number 1 pair, Sofi Araújo and Virginia Riera, managed to advance. The young Pérez and García couldn't overcome the experience and fell 6/0 and 6/4.

Claudia Jensen and Jess Castelló, pair number 2, did the same with a score of 6/0 and 6/3 against Fernández López.
