Breaking: Fernando Belasteguín announces his retirement

Fernando Belasteguín, for many the greatest player in history, announced that 2024 will be his last year as a professional.

The Argentine former world number one communicated on his social media that this will be his final season: "I want to announce that in 2024 I will complete 30 years of my career and it will be my last year as a professional player."

Bela will say goodbye to padel sharing the court with Lucho Capra and with the great objective of enjoying every last minute: "I face this season with the same enthusiasm as that boy who left Pehuajó, and who can look his family in the eyes with the peace of mind that he gave it his all."

Several players such as Mike Yanguas, Martita Ortega, Tolito Aguirre, and many others left their message to the legend. There is a long season ahead, but without a doubt, the entire padel world is already starting to miss the 'Boss'.
