Confirmed: Triay and Ortega go their separate ways

ANNONS

Marta Ortega and Gemma Triay have decided to go their separate ways less than a month before the start of the season. The players will separate after the first Premier Padel competition.

Yesterday, Padel Alto could report that Marta Ortega and Gemma Triay would break up. Now Triay has confirmed this on her social media:

”Martita and I will separate our professional paths after the tournament in Riyadh. It has not been an easy decision, it has been very well thought out and I think it is the best for both of us. After 9 months playing together I feel that we are not reaching the level that we have during our training sessions and that is something that is taking its toll on me”, Gemma Triay wrote on Instagram.

They are already registered as a pair in the first tournament that starts the Premier Padel season, so they will have to wait until it ends to start their new projects.

Spanish newspaper Libertad Digital writes that Gemma Triay will start a partnership with 17-year-old Claudia Fernández.
