After the success of table tennis: Stiga launches the unique padel racket model

ANNONS

The hexagonal racket has taken table tennis by storm. Now, Stiga is launching its Cybershape racket for Padel as well.
”The 20% greater sweet spot in combination with the acceleration is an incredible advantage”, says John Bandstigen, Product Manager for Stiga.

The racket model has revolutionized table tennis and took Swedish Truls Möregårdh to the World Cup final in 2021. Now, the Swedish company, Stiga, is also converting its successful model to padel.

Today, the Swedish brand released a press release announcing the introduction of the Cybershape hexagonal padel racket.

”This racket takes concepts like sweet spot and power to a whole new dimension, all thanks to its hexagonal shape. The ability to reach balls close to the ground or walls was probably the most surprising thing to me when I first tried it,” says John Bandstigen, Product Manager at Stiga, in a press release.

Released in three versions

He continues:

”The 20% greater sweet spot in conjunction with the acceleration is an incredible benefit of the Cybershape shape. As you hit harder and faster strokes, you get tremendous power and forward assist that gives a sense of total control despite the high speed. The combination of speed and control is, I would say, a unique feature of the Cybershape racket", says John Bandstigen, Product Manager at Stiga.

The company states that the model is available for pre-booking starting today and comes in three versions: Cybershape 3K, Cybershape 18K, and Cybershape 18K Hard.
