Alejandra Salazar and Sofia Araujo have ended their partnership. The pair started playing together after Gemma Triay's controversial switch after Salazar's injury when she chose to move on with Marta Ortega.

Now, Spanish newspaper Relevo reports that Alejandra Salazar has been in contact with Tamara Icardo about a collaboration and that they are approaching a partnership.

”According to what we have been able to find out from Relevo, Alejandra Salazar has already spoken with Tamara Icardo to familiarise herself with her and discuss the possibility of starting a new project for next season with the start of the Premier Padel circuit. These talks have taken place in good harmony and the Valencian player should have accepted the offer without hesitation. They will wait until the end of the season to confirm the decision and announce it publicly if it finally comes true", writes the newspaper.

It remains to be seen if Alejandra Salazar and Tamara Icardo will share the court next year.
