Official: She receives the last spot in the WPT's Master Final

The Master Final will be taking place in Barcelona in December. Now it is confirmed that Mapi Alayeto will receive the last place in the competition.

In a few weeks, the World Padel Tour's Master Final will take place in Barcelona. It will be the last WPT event in history. The top 16 players with the most ranking points from 2023 have earned a spot in the competition.

But when all the tournaments were completed, it was still unclear whether Mapi Alayeto or Majo Alayeto would get the last spot. This was because both players had the same amount of points but there was only one ticket to the competition.

Now the World Padel Tour has confirmed that it will be Mapi Alayeto who gets the last place in the competition.

The reason for the decision is still not clear, but it may be that Lucia Sainz, who is without a partner in the Top 16, has had to choose between the twins.

The Master Final will take place on 14-17 December in Barcelona.
