Lebron after fourth title: "I wasn't at the level I was at before"
Juan Lebron and Alejandro Galan were crowned champions of the Malmö Open after defeating Franco Stupaczuk and Martín Di Nenno. The pair secured their fourth title of the year.
Juan Lebron and Alejandro Galan had a tough start to the season. Both players suffered injuries and the pair lost the top spot in the world rankings to Agustín Tapia and Arturo Coello.
But since August, the pair have been back at the top of the game and challenging for titles. In Malmö, the pair secured another title, meaning that Galan/Lebron have won four out of six titles since the summer break.
The pair did not only win the title, they also showed their dominance on the court during the tournament.
— It has taken me a long time to get to this level. At the beginning of my comeback, I understood my teammate's frustration because it was true, I was not at the level I was at before. He has helped me a lot, together with the academy and Jorge, we have all managed to put together a different game, which is not so much based on hitting. We're very happy, Lebron said in the interview after the win.
— We didn't think we would win four tournaments, but now that we're here, we're going to strive for everything we can.
Now there are only two WPT tournaments left.
