This is how Tapia and Coello can secure first place in Malmö

It's time for the Malmö Padel Open. A special competition for Agustin Tapia and Arturo Coello who can secure first place in the ranking.

This week the padel highlight of the year in Sweden takes place: Malmö Padel Open. It will be the third year in a row that the competition visits Malmö Arena. But the competition is also special for world number ones Agustín Tapia and Arturo Coello. The pair can secure first place during the competition.

Before the competition, Tapia/Coello have 15 845 points each and Di Nenno/Stupaczuk 13 910 points each. This means that the world number one's lead the standings with 1935 points and a maximum of 3500 more points can be won.

The winner in Malmö gets 1000 more points. This means that if Tapia/Coello secures the title and Di Nenno/Stupaczuk does not make it past the semi-finals, the pair will secure first place. The world number ones simply needs to increase their lead by at least 566 points to be able to celebrate in Sweden.

In the women's category, Paula Josemaria and Ariana Sánchez have already secured first place.

Final: 600 points
Semi-final: 360 points
Quarter-final: 180 points

Master final:

Winner: 1500 points
Final: 900 points
Semi-final: 540 points
Quarter-final: 270 points
