The American clubs are now signing players in a row. Now Padel Alto can reveal that Lucia Sainz and Carmen Goenaga are set to join San Diego Stingrays in the American league PPL.

Lucia Sainz and Carmen Goenaga are the latest to join the American PPL, with the San Diego Stingrays signing the stars.

Lucia Sainz is one of the biggest legends in the world of padel and a long-time player at the highest level of the World Padel Tour.

"I am eager to begin this next chapter of my career by joining the San Diego Stingrays. I have long been passionate about the growth of our sport outside its traditional nations, and to help propel the game in a
market as big as the United States is a huge moment for me personally. San Diego is known
to love its sport and so this was an opportunity too good to pass by. I can’t wait to get on
the court and help the Stingrays battle for honors in 2024.”," Lucia Sainz said in a press release.

"San Diego is investing heavily"

She is joined by Spaniard Carmen Goenaga, the 19-year-old talent who has made a breakthrough on the WPT in recent years.

"“This is a huge moment for me, as I join Lucia with the goal to help the San Diego Stingrays claim
silverware in 2024. I cannot wait to play my own part in growing the sport in the United
States at a time when padel is becoming better known. San Diego is the perfect team for me
to launch my PPL career, and I cannot wait to get out on court in America in 2024” Goenaga states.

”Signed Lamperti and Sanchez”

A few weeks ago, Padel Alto revealed that Miguel Lamperti and Maxi Sanchez are ready for the San Diego Stingrays. Now the big investment club sails up as the favorite for the PPL title in 2024.

“In having the opportunity to sign two top 30 players in Lucia and Carmen, we have a real chance to compete for the PPL title next year. To bring on two leading Spanish players is testament to our ambition to be
one of the most competitive sides in the competition. We are excited to see what Lucia and
Carmen have to offer.”
