Maxi Sánchez needs surgery: "Sometimes the body needs a little love and care"

Maxi Sanchez was forced to withdraw from the first round of the World Padel Tour in the Netherlands due to an injury. Now the player confirms that he will undergo surgery.

Maxi Sanchez and Lucho Capra were forced to withdraw from the World Padel Tour in the Netherlands as Sanchez suffered an ankle injury.

Now the player announces that he will undergo surgery:

”Today I want to share some news with you. After the injury I suffered at the WPT Amsterdam Open, which forced me to withdraw from the event, I decided to undergo surgery. Don't worry, it's nothing serious. Just a recharge to come back stronger than ever”.

He continues:

”My brain always wants to give everything, but sometimes the body needs some love and care. It will be a "technical check" to make sure everything is perfect and to keep enjoying every game”

Lucho Capra, now without a partner, is registered with Alex Chozas for the next WPT tournament.
