Champions in Amsterdam — Josemaria and Sanchez make history

Ariana Sánchez and Paula Josemaría have had a brilliant season. The pair have won title after title. Today, the pair made history once again.

The pair defeated Bea Gonzalez and Delfi Brea in the final of the Amsterdam Padel Open with 7-6, 6-0. Josemaria and Sánchez secured their 13th World Padel Tour title this year, beating Gemma Triay and Alejandra Salazar's record from last year.

— Today a dream has come true. I am very happy. We have done something spectacular that we are not fully aware of yet. I want to continue making history with Paula. I want to dedicate this title to our family, our friends and our team, we couldn't have done it without them," Sanchez said after the win.

The World Padel Tour will be back at the end of October in Menorca.
