Disappointing end — forced to withdraw in in the first round

Maxi Sanchez was forced to withdraw from the first round of the World Padel Tour in the Netherlands due to an injury. 

In the morning, a prestigious match was decided in the WPT in Amsterdam. Federico Chingotto and Paquito Navarro played against Lucho Capra and Maxi Sanchez.

The first set started tight. Both pairs were good in their serve games. At 5-5, Sanchez had to take a medical timeout and then retired after losing the first set.

According to the WPT commentator, it is an ankle injury. How the injury will affect the player's future tournaments is unclear.

This means Chingotto and Navarro are through to the Round of 16 of the World Padel Tour in the Netherlands.
