Here are the champions of Sardinia

The FIP Platinum in Sardinia is completed. Sainz/Llaguno and Yanguas/Chingotto went all the way and won the tournament.

This week, FIP-Platinum took place in Sardinia. The FIP-Platinum is the highest ranked FIP tournament after the Premier Padel tournaments. As a result, a lot of world players chose to participate in the competition to collect ranking points for next season.

In the women's category, Lucia Sainz and Patricia Llaguno were seeded first after Virginia Riera and Tamara Icardo withdrew. In the final, the pair faced Carolina Orsi and Carla Mesa.

The experienced pair showed a skilful game and won the match in straight sets. The result was 6-4, 6-2 in favour of Sainz and Llaguno.

In the men's class, Mike Yanguas and Federico Chingotto were the first seeds. However, the players' positions on the court were a bit unclear. In the end, it was Chingotto who took the backhand side.

The pair had a tough road to the final with several close and intense matches. In the final, the duo faced Francisco Gil and Ramiro Moyano who surprised in both the quarter-final and semi-final, defeating higher ranked pairs.

But in the final it was Chingotto and Yanguas who were the better pair, even though the match was marked by a lot of close duels. The pair won the match 6-4, 6-3.
