Won the title in Madrid — ten years after first WPT tournament
Martin Di Nenno and Franco Stupaczuk won the title in the WPT Madrid Masters. They defeated this year's giants, Agustin Tapia and Arturo Coello in the final.
Martin Di Nenno and Franco Stupaczuk played their first World Padel Tour tournament ten years ago. It was played at Caja Magica in Madrid. Ten years later, "Los Superpibes" is the winner at the same venue.
This after beating this year's giants Agustin Tapia and Arturo Coello in two straight sets, 7-5, 6-4.
A wild celebration with Argentinian coach Carlo Pozzoni erupted after the match point. Franco Stupaczuk chose to pay tribute to the team on his social media after the match.
"Behind this picture is a great team that works together with us. Thank you for being part of it; the titles are also yours", wrote "Stupa."
