Josemaria and Sanchez champions in Madrid after saving set points

Paula Josemaria and Ari Sanchez were in trouble in the second set of the WPT Madrid Master final. But they settled the set and won the title after a tiebreak.

Favorites Josemaria and Sanchez won the World Padel Tour Master title in Madrid after a dramatic battle with Gemma Triay and Marta Ortega.

Triay and Ortega controlled the second set, including three set points at 6-5. However, Paula Josemaria and Ari Sanchez recovered, took the set to a tiebreak, and won.

In the first set, Josemaria and Sanchez showed their class and won it 6-3. The match ended 6-3, 7-6, which means that the team now has three straight titles on the WPT.
