Cristiano Ronaldo invests in padel — builds huge facility in Portugal
Football star Cristiano Ronaldo is part of the padel venture in Portugal. One of the player's companies has been commissioned to build a giant facility.
Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo is now investing in padel. One of the player's companies, CR7 S.A, is part of the group that will build the so-called "Cidade do Padel" on the outskirts of Lisbon.
The facility is expected to be completed in 2025.
The Portuguese Padel Federation writes in a press release that CR7, S.A. is part of the project:
"The Portuguese Padel Federation is pleased to have reached an agreement with the bidders selected for the partnership that will lead to the construction and implementation of the "Cidade do Padel", the consortium formed by Lusofinança Lda whose majority shareholder is Filipe de Botton, and CR7, S.A, a company whose majority share capital is owned by Cristiano Ronaldo".
The star has liked the post on Instagram, where the Portuguese Padel Federation announced the news.
