"Campa" confirms: Will miss two tournaments
Lucas Campagnolo will be sidelined for the upcoming two tournaments due to injury issues. The player himself announced this on social media.
The World Padel Tour is set to return next week after a few weeks' break, but global player Lucas Campagnolo won't be in the lineup.
Campagnolo faced a setback in his long-standing injury during the Premier Padel Italy Major. As a result, he has been absent from several competitions.
Now, the Brazilian confirms his absence from both the WPT Finland and the Premier Padel Paris: "I could say I'm devastated, sad, or frustrated... but that's not the case. Even though I'm off the courts, I'm seeking my best version on them. I'm stronger than ever in every sense. This time has helped me appreciate many things and grow in various aspects.
And he continues:
"Ultimately, I won't be able to play in Finland or Paris, and all I can say is that I'm eager and will do everything possible to be a hundred percent in Madrid."
His partner, Javier Garrido, will compete in the Finland and Paris events alongside Spanish player Javier Rico. "Campa" is aiming for a comeback at the World Padel Tour Masters tournament in Madrid, scheduled from September 16th to 24th.
