The World Padel Tour resumes its journey with the Malaga Open

ANNONS

After a two-week break, the action returns to the World Padel Tour circuit, and it's happening on Spanish soil with the Málaga Open.

Following two consecutive Premier Padel tournaments in Rome and Madrid, the World Padel Tour circuit is back in action with the WPT Málaga Open 1000.

Unfortunately, the tournament will miss the presence of the second-ranked pair, Franco Stupaczuk and Martin Di Nenno. The "Superpibes" have confirmed their absence from the Andalusian tournament due to Stupa's injury suffered during the Premier Padel P1 in Madrid last week. This opens up an opportunity for Pol Hernández and Ferrán Insa, who will enter the main draw as "Lucky Losers."

The main draw action kicks off this Tuesday at the José Carpena Sports Palace, an indoor stadium with a capacity of 9,000 spectators, housing five courts where the matches will take place.

The broadcasts starts on Wednesday, 26th, with the second day of the round of 32 matches. All the encounters played on the central court can be streamed through the WPT TV app and PPV platforms.
