In an exciting morning session at the Madrid Premier Padel P1, the circuit's most outstanding pairs dictated the rhythm and secured their spot in the tournament's quarterfinals.

This Thursday, during the Round of 16 at the Premier Padel Madrid P1, the rankings prevailed, and all the favorite duos showcased their best form to advance in the competition.

In the women's draw, the top seeds encountered no difficulties as they convincingly dominated their respective matches. The number one pair, Ariana Sánchez and Paula Josemaría, defeated the duo of Borrero and Shafirova, who came through the qualifying rounds, with a scoreline of 6/4 6/3. Furthermore, the reigning champions of the Rome Major, Triay and Ortega, proved unstoppable in their encounter against Canelas and Mesa, sealing victory with a commanding score of 6/2 6/1.

In the men's draw, the second-ranked pair, Stupaczuk and Di Nenno, faced off against the Spanish duo Diestro and Leal. The "superpibes" were pushed to their limits in a tightly contested first set, which was ultimately decided in an exciting tie break. However, they unquestionably showcased their superiority in the second set, winning with a scoreline of 6/1.

In another thrilling men's duel, Sanyo Gutiérrez and Momo González had to come back from a challenging match against Belluati and Ruiz, who took the lead by winning the first set 6/2. The reaction came in the second set for Sanyo and Momo, who managed to close out the match with a final score of 2/6 6/3 6/4 to secure their spot in the quarterfinals.
