Lucas Bergamini and Víctor Ruiz have emerged as the breakthrough pair of the Madrid P1, as they ousted none other than the formidable team of Fernando Belasteguín and Mike Yanguas in an epic showdown. 

The match was characterized by lengthy, hard-fought points, with games stretching beyond the ten-minute mark. However, the Spanish-Brazilian duo showcased exceptional skill throughout the entire match, proving to be more precise in crucial moments, and ultimately triumphed over their opponents in a grueling two-hour battle, finishing 6/4 6/3. 

Looking to repeat a P1 final

With this remarkable victory under their belt, Bergamini and Ruiz are aiming high and dreaming of replicating last year's feat at the Premier Padel Milan P1, where they reached the tournament final. To achieve that, they will face tomorrow's quarterfinals against the winner of the match between Lebron/Galán vs Capra/Sánchez.
