Young stars reunite: Libaak and Augsburger are back in action

ANNONS

After a brief hiatus of almost four months, Tino Libaak and Leo Augsburger will once again grace the court together.

The talented young Argentines, Tino Libaak and Leo Augsburger, are set to reunite at the upcoming Open de Malaga.

Augsburger and Libaak made headlines in the world of padel when they became the youngest pair to reach a final in the World Padel Tour. In March, they fought their way to the championship match at the Open de La Rioja.

Surprisingly, following their successful run in the South American WPT tour, the duo decided to part ways. Tino Libaak initially teamed up with Miguel Lamperti before joining forces with Marc Quilez. Augsburger, on the other hand, partnered with Spain's Javi Rico, with whom he competed in 11 tournaments, reaching the quarterfinals in the Marbella Master as their best result.

Now, with the official publication of the registered players' list for the WPT Open de Malaga, it is confirmed that these young talents, aged 18 and 19, will once again join forces. The Argentines will also team up at the Premier Padel P1 in Mendoza, although it remains unclear whether their partnership will extend beyond the Argentinean tournament.

Javier Garrido, who had announced his participation with Libaak at the Malaga Open 1000 due to Campagnolo's injury, will finally compete in the tournament alongside Javi Rico.
