Success for Navarro and Chingotto — ready for the final

In the afternoon the last semi-final of the day was decided. Paquito Navarro and Federico Chingotto took the victory in a match enhanced by the magical atmosphere of the Foro Italico.

Paquito Navarro secured his place in the final of the Italian Major for the second consecutive year on Saturday evening.

Paquito Navarro and Federico Chingotto had played a great tournament before tonight's match. Awaiting them in the semifinals were Fernando Belasteguin and Miguel Yanguas, who defeated Galan and Lebron yesterday. 

The players offered the crowd an incredible spectacle from the start, with long and exciting duels. Navarro and Chingotto showed a stable game, with great confidence and precision in crucial situations, so much so that the pair only lost one game in the first part of the match.

Ready for the final

The second set developed in a similar way, with Navarro and Chingotto showing a skillful game, while Belasteguin and Yanguas struggled to score points. 

The result was 6-1, 6-2 in favour of Navarro and Chingotto, who will face the best pairing of the season, Tapia and Coello, in the final tomorrow.

In the women's draw, favourites Ariana Sanchez and Paula Josemaria will face Gemma Triay and Marta Ortega.
