The world's best secured their ninth title in València

World number ones Paula Josemaria and Ariana Sánchez put in an impressive performance in the final of the València Padel Open. The pair secured their ninth title of the year.

The València Padel Open is over. The world titans dominated and won another title on the World Padel Tour this year.

In the final, Paula Josemaria and Ariana Sánchez faced Gemma Triay and Marta Ortega who are chasing their first title together. The higher ranked pair showed a really solid game and did not leave much room for their opponents.

The result was 6-3, 6-1 for Paula Josemaria and Ariana Sánchez.

- "I'm incredibly happy with this result, I want to dedicate this title to everyone in our team and a big thank you to the crowd in València for a great week," said Paula Josemaria after the win.

The world number one secured her ninth title of the year and extended her lead in the rankings.
