After the success of the first edition – Padel Trend Expo returns to Milan


Padel Trend Expo, the fair entirely dedicated to the sport of padel, will hold its second edition in Milan from January 19th to 21st, aiming to replicate the success achieved in its debut.

Padel in Italy is growing at a rapid pace, and prestigious events related to this sport are accompanying this growth.

From January 19th to 21st, 2024, the city of Milan is preparing to host the second edition of Italy's premier event solely dedicated to padel, Padel Trend Expo.

The success of the 2023 edition

The organizers seek to replicate the achievements of last January at the Allianz MiCo in Milan during the first edition of the trade fair, where over 18,000 people attended the event.

Over three days, padel enthusiasts were able to enjoy entertainment, shopping, tournaments, and conferences. They had the opportunity to watch and even play with world champions and international professionals such as Martin Di Nenno, Miguel Yanguas, Gonzalo Rubio, Mati Díaz, Verónica Virseda, Jessica Castello, Lucas Bergamini, Tolito Aguirre, Juan Restivo, and Álvaro Montiel, among others.

In addition, former footballers such as Candela, de Biagio, Maini, Locatelli, Amoruso, Panucci, Adani, Toni, Fiore, and Giannichedda were also present. Led by Bobo Vieri and his Italy Padel Tour, they competed in front of hundreds of spectators filling the stands.

The event was also an important showcase for the B2B sector, generating an estimated business volume of over 10 million euros, including closed contracts, ongoing negotiations, and potential prospects for further exploration.

Targeting emerging markets

In its second edition, the trade fair, organized by Next Group in collaboration with the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation, will have an even more international character. The aim is to strengthen the presence of buyers from emerging markets where padel is growing, such as the United States, China, the Middle East, and the United Kingdom.
