Galan resigns as president of the players' union — he replaces
Alejandro Galan has decided to resign from his position as president of the Men's players' Union, PPA. The reason is personal and professional reasons.
Ale Galan has been President of the PPA since its beginning in October 2021. However, according to the PPA themselves on their social media, he has decided to step down for personal and professional reasons.
The temporary replacement will be Pablo Lima, who previously served as vice president of the players' union.
Gaspar as vice-president
Since the founding of the PPA, most of the focus has been on the players' conflict with the World Padel Tour and the right to play on Premier Padel. Several statements have been made with harsh criticism of the WPT and its attitude toward the players' conditions.
This is Pablo Lima's last year as an active player, and the PPA is looking for a more sustainable replacement. José Gaspar temporarily replaces him as vice president.
