Official: The talented Extremadura duo join forces

Spaniards Pablo Cardona and Pincho Fernandez will join their paths from the next Valencia Open.

A new partnership emerges amidst the many changes happening in the men's circuit.

Following his separation from José García Diestro, with whom he shared the court for nearly three years, Pincho Fernández has officially revealed his new partner.

The talented left-handed youngster, Pablo Cardona, a mere 18 years old, will be accompanying Fernández from now on. The players have made their union official through social media.

"We are very excited about this new chapter, in which we are confident we will experience great moments. Eager to give it our all on the court," they announced.

While Pincho Fernández comes after a long sporting project with García Diestro, Pablito Cardona has had a season with many team changes. The young player has shared the court with Iván Ramírez on two occasions, also playing alongside Alex Arroyo and having a brief collaboration of only three tournaments with Coki Nieto.

The duo will make their debut on Tuesday, July 4th, at the Open de Valencia when they face Mario Del Castillo and Miguel Benítez in the Round of 32.
