Stupaczuk and Di Nenno are the 'Super' kings of France

ANNONS

Martin Di Nenno and Franco Stupaczuk claimed their second title of the season on the World Padel Tour circuit, consolidating their position as the second best pairing in the 2023 race.

The “superpibes” once again proved to be one of the top pairs of the season, convincingly defeating Paquito Navarro and Federico Chingotto in the final of the World Padel Tour French Open.

Di Nenno and Stupaczuk were clear dominators of the match, imposing their playing rhythm from the very beginning. Despite their efforts, Paquito and Chingotto could do little against the solidity of the Argentinians, who won in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4.

Second WPT title of the season

"I'm very happy. We came out as number one seeds in Copenhagen and delivered, we came out as number one seeds here in Toulouse and delivered. I think playing under pressure benefits us because it brings out the best in us," commented Stupa after the match.

The “Superpibes” took advantage of the absences of the world number ones, securing victories in both France and Denmark, the two tournaments in which Tapia and Coello did not participate.

The action on the World Padel Tour circuit will return next week with the start of the iconic Valladolid Master.
