Josemaría and Sánchez unstoppable – clinch their eighth title of the season in France

Paula Josemaría and Ariana Sánchez extend their winning streak and are crowned champions of the World Padel Tour French Open after beating Brea and González in a great match.

The women's final of the World Padel Tour French Open pitted undoubtedly the two best pairs of the tournament against each other: On one side, Bea González and Delfina Brea; on the other, the unbeatable world number ones, Paula Josemaría and Ariana Sánchez.

A fluctuating match

Both pairs entered the encounter after an impressive tournament, having displayed a level of play superior to their opponents in the semifinals.

However, in the early stages of the match, Josemaría and Sánchez showcased undeniable superiority. González and Brea started hesitantly, committing several unforced errors, which allowed Ariana and Paula to seize control of the game.

With great precision in crucial moments, the Spaniards capitalized on golden points and quickly took the lead on the scoreboard. The first set ended with a resounding 6-1 in favor of Josemaría and Sánchez.

But in the second part, Brea and González staged a comeback. The Spanish-Argentinian duo displayed solid and strategic play, securing two consecutive breaks to claim the set and level the score.

Eighth title of the season

In a much tighter third set, neither pair managed to gain an advantage, and everything was decided in the tiebreak. There, unforced errors plagued the Spanish-Argentinian pair once again. Josemaría and Sánchez didn't miss the opportunity and clinched the match 6-1, 4-6, 7-6 after two and a half hours of battle.

With this performance, Paula Josemaría and Ariana Sánchez once again demonstrated their mental strength and excellent form. The pair claimed their eighth title of the season, making it clear that they are the team to beat on the circuit.
