Agustin Tapia will miss the World Padel League — Javi Garrido will replace him
Agustin Tapia will not only miss France's World Padel Tour tournament. He will also miss the World Padel League's competition in Dubai — now the organization has revealed that Javi Garrido will replace him.
Agustin Tapia and Arturo Coello have been unbeatable on the World Padel Tour with nine tournament victories and 42 straight wins. But now, the extreme tournament schedule has taken its toll.
Tapia has problems with his right elbow and will rest for two weeks. This means that the Argentine misses both the World Padel Tour in France and the World Padel League competition in Dubai, which starts on Thursday.
Now the organization confirms that Javi Garrido is replacing the star. This is confirmed by the Swedish broadcasting company, Padel-TV's CEO Johannes Thomhave to the site.
— Unfortunately, we just got a negative message from Tapia, as he really could not cope with the match pace. Sad, of course, but I am pleased that Javi Garrido now gets the chance to step in. A personal favorite who will now get to play with Coello and hopefully show the world what a fantastic player he is, says Johannes Thomhave.
