Official: Here is Gemma Triay's New Partner

ANNONS

Following Alejandra Salazar's departure from the courts due to injury, Gemma Triay will team up with Martita Ortega.

As of next week, we will have a new pairing in the women's rankings. Spanish players Gemma Triay and Marta Ortega will share the court starting from the French Open, entering the tournament as the second-seeded pair.

Triay announced the news on her social media accounts, stating, "Martits, THANK YOU for accepting the challenge! It will be a pleasure to play alongside you. We will have to work hard to try to be a competitive couple. We are really looking forward to facing this challenge together. Let's go for Toulouse"

After her participation in the Marbella Masters, Alejandra Salazar announced that she would be taking some time off the courts due to a lingering elbow injury. Consequently, Triay has decided to call on Ortega as her replacement.

It appears that Salazar's problem is more serious than initially thought, leading the player from Menorca to seek a new partner while Alejandra recovers.
