Agustín Tapia and Arturo Coello showcased their absolute dominance on the court by defeating the formidable duo of Momo González and Sanyo Gutiérrez in two sets.

With a commanding performance, Tapia and Coello made it clear why they are the world number one and clinched the second Master of the season.

From the start of the match, Agustín and Arturo imposed their rhythm and established a significant lead on the scoreboard.

The young pair took control of the encounter and showed no mercy to their opponents, ultimately being crowned champions of the Marbella tournament with a score of 6/3 6/2, in under an hour of play.

"This is the result of our daily work together, each match allows us to understand each other better. We were up against a very tough pair: Momo playing at home, and Sanyo, who spent a long time by my side, which made it even more challenging," said Agustín Tapia after the match.

With this victory, Tapia and Coello extended their impressive winning streak to 42 undefeated matches this season. Moreover, they achieved their ninth consecutive tournament victory, solidifying their position as the pair to beat in the world of padel.

"I need to undergo medical examinations"

The triumph did not come without sacrifices for Agustín Tapia. The Argentine player competed in the last two tournaments with a preventive bandage on his right arm due to discomfort. After the match, Tapia mentioned the need to rest and undergo medical examinations in order to recover as soon as possible.

"Now it's time to rest, I need to undergo medical examinations and recover as soon as possible. It's something that could worsen, so it's best to pause and determine when I can return at 100% without worrying about re-injury," commented Agustín.

The World Padel Tour will resume action in the week of June 10th, when the circuit visits Toulouse for the French Open. This will provide a few days of rest and recovery for the Argentine star, who will utilize this time to prioritize his health and prepare for the remainder of the season.
