Pro Padel League signs agreement with CBS Sports

The Pro Padel League, the first professional padel league in North America, has announced that it has signed an agreement with CBS Sports to broadcast the final PPL Championship match on CBS Sports Network.

Leading US subscription television network CBS Sports Network, part of CBS Entertainment Group (a unit of Paramount Global), will be in charge of broadcasting the final PPL Championship match, the league announced.

PPL Executive Producer and Head of Media, Harry Cicma, he stated: “CBS Sports is one of the most prestigious networks in the world, and it is an honor and privilege to create this relationship with Pro Padel League and CBS Sports Network. There is no better home for the PPL’s Championship Match as the entire United States will be able to watch the unparalleled excitement of the PPL and Padel.”

The two-hour programming will cover the PPL Championship Game on June 11 and will air tape-delayed on CBS Sports Network on June 22 at 7 p.m. ET.

The inaugural PPL season kicked off on 13 May with seven teams and will conclude with the Championship weekend, 10-11 June, where there will be a semi-final round followed by the top two teams competing for the title of champions, in the final for the PPL Cup.
