Official: Here is Pablo Lima's New Partner
The Brazilian legend, who recently split from Coki Nieto, will share the court with another talented Spanish player.
After the official announcement of Jorge Nieto's departure, we now know who will be Pablo Lima's new partner.
The Brazilian star, who will retire at the end of this season, will join forces with the young Spanish talent Iván Ramírez, aged 22. Ivanxo currently plays alongside Pablo Cardona, with whom he will compete in the Vienna Open, his final tournament together.
For Ramírez, the decision to part ways with Cardona was not easy, but the opportunity to play alongside one of the legends of world padel is something that, according to his words, "will leave a mark on the rest of his career."
The Madrid native made the announcement official through his Instagram account:
"A few years ago, I had the chance to train with you, and it was a dream for me to think that I could play with you someday. Well, that day has come, and it's a great honor for me that you have chosen to finish your sports career by my side. I know that everything you will bring to me will leave a lasting impact on my professional career," he said.
The pair, who will train under the guidance of Juani Mieres, do not yet have a specific debut date, as Lima is currently recovering from an injury that kept him out of the recent competitions.
