Principle of agreement between World Padel Tour and Premier Padel

ANNONS

World Padel Tour and Premier Padel have reached an 'agreement in principle' according to Mundo Deportivo newspaper.

The negotiations between the Premier Padel and World Padel Tour circuits seem to be reaching a happy ending.

The approach made between QSI (owner of Premier Padel) and the Damm Group (owner of the WPT) has been described as very "positive" by both parties, and it seems that there will be an agreement for next year.

According to the Spanish media Mundo Deportivo, next season, there would be a single circuit owned by Premier Padel (QSI) and governed by the FIP, but with the participation of the Spanish business group, although no further details were revealed.

After several months of negotiations, both parties would have signed a memorandum of understanding, a document that would put in writing the will to negotiate the circuits, although it would not be binding.

Thus, everything points to the fact that in the 2024 season, we will have a single circuit that will bring together the best of both, although it is unclear how the project will be carried out.
