The 30-year-old backhand will miss the World Padel Tour Denmark Open due to a discomfort she has been suffering from in previous tournaments.

Due to injury, Spanish player Veronica Virseda will not be able to participate in the World Padel Tour Danish Open. The world champion suffers from plantar fasciitis and has decided to withdraw from the competition.

"I won't be playing the Danish Open due to a plantar fasciitis I've been carrying for the last two months. The accumulation of tournaments is making it difficult to recover, so I hope to be at 100x100 soon", Virseda announced on his social networks.

Her usual teammate, Bárbara Las Heras, is recovering from cruciate ligament surgery and will be absent for several months.

Verónica Virseda and her new partner, Beatriz Caldera, were due to make their debut in the Danish tournament on Wednesday against Saiz and Amatriaín. Still, because of the withdrawal, their place in the draw has been taken by Léa Godallier and Giulia Sussarello.
