Portuguese Manchester United football player Diogo Dalot and Spaniard Paquito Navarro have inaugurated Padel Athletic Club (PAC), a brand new club for padel enthusiasts in the city of Porto.

The talented Portuguese international footballer Diogo Dalot, currently playing for Manchester United in England, has teamed up with Paquito Navarro to bring to life PAC, a modern padel club in the exclusive Ramalde area of Porto.

This project, a trailblazer in Portuguese padel, offers sportsmen and women a great environment to play and socialise, providing facilities with high levels of comfort and quality.

The opening, held last Tuesday, was attended by more than 300 guests, including the Mayor of Porto, Rui Moreira, and prominent Portuguese padel players such as Diogo Rocha, Antonio Luque, Pedro Perry and João Caiano, who played an exhibition match. In addition, during the event, singer and songwriter Mariana Dalot, sister of Diogo Dalot, gave a live performance.

14 indoor courts and high-quality facilities

The PAC is located in a top location in the city and has 14 high quality indoor courts, including two premium courts with features similar to those used in professional competitions. In addition, the club offers a spacious 1,500 square metre gymnasium, a specialised padel shop, an events room, a physiotherapy area, heating throughout the facilities and a lounge bar with stunning panoramic views of the premium courts. There is also an entertainment area for the little ones.

With the aim of promoting and growing this sport in Portugal, PAC has established an academy dedicated to the formation of athletes. This academy welcomes young people who wish to learn and enter the world of padel, as well as those who are looking to progress in their game. In addition, a High Performance Centre has been created to provide all the necessary conditions for professional players to train.
