A curious situation occurred in the match between Stupaczuk and Di Nenno against Augsburger and Rico, in the last 32 of the WPT Vigo Open.

On Wednesday, in the last 32 of the World Padel Tour Vigo Open, the pairing of Franco Stupaczuk and Martin Di Nenno took on Javi Rico and Leo Augsburger.

The "superpibes" dominated the match, and after a short lob from their opponents, the ball was given to Franco Stupaczuk, who hit a powerful smash.

After the bounce on the back wall, Stupa realised that something was not right with the ball and stopped the game: "It popped, the ball popped" said the Argentine. Stupaczuk had burst the ball in the smash, and the point had to be repeated, but then the unthinkable happened.

After the point was replayed, Stupaczuk tried to finish the play with a powerful parallel smash, but again burst the ball with the shot.

- It popped again," said Stupaczuk.

- No way! Where's the ball? Let me touch it! No man, ¡no way!", Rico laughs.

Meanwhile, Stupaczuk stared at his racket in disbelief, trying to understand what had happened.

In the end, it was a 6/2 6/3 win for Stupa and Di Nenno, but it will go down as the match with one of the most curious points in history.
