Adidas honours Seba Nerone with a 'legend' racket

The German brand Adidas has launched the new Adipower Legend, a racket that pays tribute to the Argentinian player Sebastián Nerone.

Adidas has unveiled a new limited edition racket in honour of former world number one Seba Nerone. 

The Adipower Legend combines elegant design with state-of-the-art technology. The racket has Dual Exoskeleton, a reinforcement based on carbon fibre ribs; Spin Blade technology with roughness on the surface of the blade and EVA Soft Performance rubber, a lightweight compound that ensures the best hit. 

"The Adipower Legend is unique and unrepeatable as is the figure to whom it pays tribute. Seba Nerone is a synonym of talent and tenacity and his exclusive racket is made to accompany the sharpest and most persevering hands", announced the brand.

Nerone retired from professional padel two years ago, and since then he has dedicated himself to commentating on the World Padel Tour. In recent times, he has shown his coaching side, accompanying the Sanchez Alayeto twins from the bench. 

After his retirement in 2021, the 46-year-old Argentine will return as a player of the Los Angeles Beat franchise of the North American PPL, where he will debut his 'legend' racket.
