Spanish couple Momo Gonzalez and Mike Yanguas have made their separation official through their social networks.

The news had already made headlines earlier in the day, but now the protagonists themselves have confirmed it.

Despite having played only two tournaments together, and having won a title at the Reus Open 500, Momo Gonzalez and Mike Yanguas have decided to separate.

The couple made the official announcement this afternoon, via their social media channels.

"I wanted to let you know that this will be my last tournament with Momo, here in Granada. I am very happy to have played these two tournaments with him, and I wanted to wish him the best and thank him. It's not a goodbye, but a see you soon," said Mike Yanguas in a video.

Momo González, for his part, only published an image on his Instagram stories, thanking his now ex-partner.

The reason behind this split is Sanyo Gutierrez's call to Momo Gonzalez, with whom he will be paired up from the next tournament, while Mike Yanguas will share the court with Sanyo's former partner, the legend Fernando 'el Boss' Belasteguin.
